This project involved replacing numerous failed stone cladding panels across the building, with stone matched and procured from the original quarry along with repairs to the failing pointing and mastic sealants with specialist products. The works were undertaken from mobile elevated work platforms with specialist foundation designs and a fixed scaffold crash deck to the building perimeter at low level to minimise the programme period for the project and the cost to the client, as well as reduced disruption to the public.

This project was only successfully achieved following extensive liaison with TfL, several local authorities as well as tenants of nearby properties.

The project was completed on time despite severe poor weather and under budget.
