Kenyon were engaged to carry out external refurbishment of this 6 storey 1900’s building over a 20 week period. A particular requirement of this contract was that coordination of the contract work’s with works being undertaken by individual lessees on other building projects on site.

Scope of work:

• Excavation of rear gardens to reduce levels to below DPC
• Removal of 12 no trees within a tree conservation area
• Installation of new drainage including chambers, gullys etc
• Demolition of damaged retaining walls and rebuilding to new details
• Reinforcing of existing cracked 2.5m high retaining wall along main road
• Forming new pathways around whole building finished with resin bound gravel
• Demolition of access steps and reforming as a DDA compliant ramp
• Landscaping to all areas
• Minor brickwork, roofing and joinery repairs
